Worship ServicesOur religious services are warm, friendly, and, with few exceptions, open to the entire community. We celebrate all Jewish holidays, making young and old feel comfortable and part of the community. The first Friday evening of each month is our "Family Shabbat," which takes particular care to involve youngsters in the prayers, songs and story/sermon. We have a monthly "Very Young People's Shabbat" especially for pre-readers, and separate Children's Services throughout the High Holy Days. Our commitment to quality Jewish education for all children is reflected in our observance of Bar/ Bat Mitzvah and Confirmation. We encourage parents to educate all their children, and we recognize both boys' and girls' accomplishments with equal participation at age thirteen. This is a special day for every Jew, and we do our best to make it a unique and personal experience. In addition to the B'Nai Mitzvah service, there is Minyan group that meets every Shabbat morning. |
